1. Who we are
Treasure Academy, Ageva is a Creche, Nursery and Primary school in Ageva, Okene, Kogi State, Nigeria. It is operated by Treasure Academy Ageva Limited, an incorporated company registered in Nigeria (RC-9634403), privately held and serving families since 2017. This policy explains what personal information we hold about pupils and their families, why we hold it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to records kept in our school office.
2. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run the school and care for your child.
- Pupil details — name, date of birth, sex, class, home address, blood group and any health notes, and previous school.
- Parent / guardian details — name, phone number, email address, occupation and relationship to the pupil.
- School records — attendance, homework, assessment and examination results, fee payments and receipts.
- Messages you send us — through the contact form, volunteer or event sign-ups, and lost-and-found reports.
- Basic website data — anonymous page-visit statistics (via Vercel Analytics) to see which pages are useful. We do not use advertising trackers.
3. How we use your information
- To process admissions and keep an accurate register of pupils.
- To teach, assess and report on your child's progress.
- To contact you about your child, fees, events, closures and emergencies.
- To keep pupils safe and to meet our duty of care.
- To meet legal and regulatory requirements of the Kogi State Ministry of Education and other authorities.
4. How we store and protect it
Pupil and family records are kept in the school office and are seen only by the Headmistress and authorised staff who need them for their work. Information entered on this website is stored on the office device and on our secure hosting; access to portal accounts is protected by login. We keep records only for as long as we need them, and dispose of them safely when they are no longer required.
We never sell your information. We share it only where the law requires (for example, with the Ministry of Education) or where it is necessary to protect a child.
5. Children's privacy
Most of the information we hold relates to children, so we treat it with extra care. Pupil birthdays and personal details are visible only to staff and the Headmistress, never published openly on this website. Photographs of pupils are used on our pages and social media only with parental understanding at enrolment; tell us in writing if you would prefer your child not to appear.
6. Your rights
As a parent or guardian you can ask us to:
- See the information we hold about you and your child;
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- Delete information we no longer need to keep;
- Stop using your child's photograph.

7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be announced on the school notice board and this page.
