Our commitment
Treasure Academy, Ageva is committed to providing a safe, caring and welcoming environment where every pupil can learn and grow. All members of staff share responsibility for keeping children safe from harm, neglect, bullying and abuse, and we expect every adult on our premises to uphold this duty.
A safe environment
- Pupils are supervised throughout the school day, at play and at events.
- Only known parents, guardians or persons named by them may collect a child.
- Visitors report to the office and are not left alone with pupils.
- A first-aid point is kept on site; each pupil's blood group and health notes are held for emergencies.
Our staff
Teachers and support staff are recruited with references and interviews, are briefed on how to care for and protect children, and follow a clear code of conduct. Any adult who behaves in a way that puts a child at risk will be dealt with firmly, including reporting to the appropriate authorities where necessary.
Anti-bullying & behaviour
We do not tolerate bullying of any kind. Pupils are taught to treat one another with respect, and any incident is taken seriously, investigated and addressed with the children and families involved. Discipline is firm but never degrading or harmful.
Online safety
Where pupils use computers for Common Entrance practice and learning, activity is supervised and limited to approved material. We teach children simple, age-appropriate rules for staying safe online.
